Oh To Be Wise

Everyone likes to go to museums but no one likes to go visit the powerplants. Museums tell about how things used to be. A place of treasures from the past telling you to look forward to the future. Powerplants tell you about the Present. It shows you how to power cities and where the electrical grids are connected to. Oh Lord, help me treasure the past as it was given as a gift from you. Your Word is a gift kept as a museum for mankind over the centuries. But your Word has become alive in Christ. He is the powerplant that powers humans in relationship with Him. He is the electrical vine that connects to the branches of our hearts which paper and pen could never do. Help me Jesus to visit the museum of your Word and not stay there. Guide me to the powerplant of Your Spirit. Connect me to the Power of your Word.
