Oh To Be Wise-Meditations

Exile is the human condition and we are longing for a new home. Jesus went into exile alongside us to show us the true way home. His followers remain exiles as they wait for that day when Jesus returns to transform this world into a true home. As Jesus followers commit themselves to Him they discover this new way of being human. They believe that the real return from exile has begun. We are sojourners or wanderers living in a world that is not our home. We are citizens of heaven. Jesus has opened up a pathway to our real home we have been looking for all our lives. Jesus says He is the way and His Life and Self Giving love is the way the Kingdom of God. Meditate Heb. 11:13
