Oh To Be Wise-Meditations

Among all the edible trees, God specifically mentioned the tree of life in contrast to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. What a thought, to learn of God through the tree of life with His truth digested in me. Adam and Eve were free to eat of any fruit and it would sustain their life, there world. But the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was very expensive, it would actually cost there lives. Since our very first parents in the garden we have been trying to feed ourselves, hungrying for things that were meant to be free. Jesus has become our tree of life. The Living Word that sustains us and feeds us life. Since the fall of man the inflation of sin has brought poverty to humans soul and body. We can bearly feed ourselves with the knowledge of good and evil. We need to respect God and learn how to do good rather than evil. This is maturity. Our senses need to be trained to discern good and evil. Will you chose the tree of life in Christ or the ways of this world trying to find good in evil.
