Proverbs of a 34 yr old man.

Do not try to cope with sin or try to manage it. You must be dead to it. Dead people have no desire to sin because there is no life in them. What good does it do to tempt a dead body to sin? What good is a raw slap of meat to the mouth of a dead lion? The best way to die to sin is live in relationship with Christ. Jesus was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him and because of that sin and death have no power over you. His Spirit is inside you and He gives life to your spirit and brings death to your bodies desires. Like Raid spray to a cockroach is the Holy Spirit to your body of sin. Jesus works in you a pure holy desire for His Kingdom. He then uses our dead bodies as instruments of righteousness for His Glory and Purpose.
