Oh To Be Wise Meditations
You cannot live your life from yesterday's provision. You need new Grace and new Mercy. Think about this: We can't satisfy hunger from yesterday's meal. We can heal sickness from yesterday's dose of antibiotics. We can't run on full from yesterday's tank. What makes us think that we could live glory to glory from yesterday's Grace. Sufficient for each day is it's own trouble. At the end of the day you will be tired, you will feel disappointed, you have failed many times. But the secret to the gift of Holiness is day by day we are changed into the Likeness of Christ. God is the one changing and conforming you to His Image. Santification is slow so that you have no bragging rights. God gets all the glory this way, starting us from a puddle into a glorious waterfall of living water. Â
