My moral choices are not private, they are cosmic matters. God in Christ has called us to live free from sin and death. But let us not use our freedom in Christ to satisfy our sinful nature. Let the Holy Spirit guide your life. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. The Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. Jesus has given us clean hearts. Clean hearts that have pure desires. Let us stay close in relationship with Jesus so that we do not fall away into the absyss of disobedience.
