Proverbs of a 35 yr. old man.
When I say God spoke to me, it means I took Him at His Word. I did not speak with God as humans do face to face. Rather as I read scripture, God puts me in the cleft of the rock and causes His Holy Spirit to pass over me. And just like Moses saw the back of the Lord, I am also overwhelmed by the supernatural presence of the Holy Spirit's filling. The scripture all of a sudden becomes alive off the page. My emotions, my thoughts, and my whole body feels the power of Gods love in Christ. In that moment words become thoughts and thoughts become affirmation. Affirmation from my Heavenly Father as we speak spirit to spirit as humans speak face to face.
