Oh To Be Wise Meditations

People hate us because we associate with Christ. The world has been groaning since the fall of man. Being subject to futility all mankind has succumbed to a sense of eternity in their hearts. Not able to understand all things while still looking for a purpose and meaning to life. Maybe realizing that there may be a Father and Creator of this world. Jesus puts a wrench in alot of people's plans for their lives. Mankind has found a way to live apart from a Creator God, many times acting like God. Jesus has not come to bring peace to a world filled with evil and sin. No, He has come to bring a sword and awaken humanity to new way of life. Dividing people not by color of skin or wealth, but by what is truth. Jesus has made an appeal to man's heart to see their need for a Savior. To see their need of eternal life in God and not in humanity. God cannot leave the world as it is, there is so much justice required even with the advancement of humanity on earth. Mankind in is judgment and Jesus is the one appointed as Judge. God instead of letting complete judgment fall on us, He took it upon Himself On the Cross. This world is under condemnation and soon will pass away. Therefore the world hates us because we represent the new Kingdom of Heaven that is already here. If the world hates you, keep in mind it hated Christ first. Trust in the Gospel to save the uttermost, and leave judgment to God.  Study Matt. 10:34-36
