Oh To Be Wise Meditations

 Oh Jesus, you said to drink from it, all of us; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. It was in the crushing, in the pressing, that you made new wine for eternal life. You were crushed for our sins, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment you suffered, made whole by the blows you received. I am an old wineskin that you are filling with new wine daily. I have been filled with the Holy Spirit and I am not able to contain it with this old wineskin of a body. I leak and become empty without your Spirit. I need you every moment and every hour to keep me full of Spirit and Life overflowing out of me. I can't wait til the day I put on the new wineskin you have prepared for me. I will be a drink offering for your Glory, streams of living water overflowing out of me. Till that glorious day Jesus I pray you bring new wine out of me. Even if I'm crushed, persecuted or left abandoned by the world, use it for your glory. May my life be a place where your Holy Spirit can bear much fruit for your Kingdom. Jesus you said you would not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when you drink it new with me in your Father's kingdom. I am honored by the sweetness spoken from your lips. You are the true vine, you have the roots to my soul. I can't wait to raise my heart to you as a toast. Drinking in eternal life with you forever in fellowship with our Heavebly Father.  Meditate Ps. 60:1-4
