You had no light in you, your light bulb was burnt out by sin. But now you are a physical lamp to the world, smile to turn the light on. People can see how bright the light of Christ is in you through your the eyes of your heart. Jesus has given us new light bulbs of the Holy Spirit that have everlasting power. Unlike Moses, who wore a veil to conceal the temporary glory of the Old Covenant, we boldly proclaim the permanent glory of the New Covenant. We had a spiritual veil removed from our hearts through Christ. We as believers behold the glory of God through the Living Word and are transformed into that glory, the image of Christ.
