If you share the truth but don't do it in love, is it still the truth found in the Gospel? The law reminds us of our need for Christ and his body of believers to live out truth of the Gospel. Yes, we don't want to deny the truth of the word, but without love it is not truth but a lie of the evil one. We share the gospel because we love the people for whom Christ died. We speak God’s truth because of His love, and we do it in a way that clearly communicates both truth and love. Love is never glad with sin; it's always glad to side with truth, and pleased that truth will win. Share the truth and then be ready to love and care.
