You have stilled the roaring of the seas, the pounding of their waves, yes you have calmed it's surge and subdued them. By hushing the waves and bringing them to a whisper, all I can hear now loudly in my heart is the word Silence! Be still! Why was I so afraid? Why did I have no faith? Jesus you rebuke the wind and sea and it obeys you. Rebuke all my raging desires and cause me through the Holy Spirit to obey your very word. I know I can be still when your peace is within me.
