Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Oh to be wise in this: When you give yourself to something or someone, your eyes are opened. Your will, your heart, and your mind know the good and evil of thing. Innocence is lost, paradise is lost, and you are covered in shame and pride. Helpless in our strength to the gradually decline of body and spirit. Like a snake wrapped around its prey is the soul of man stuck in the good and evil of a thing. We were meant to jump of cliffs and fly with eagles, instead we drop with gravity to our death. We were to walk in a room being ourselves and not be fake to one another, instead we hold back thinking people have alteral motives. We were to walk in relationship with God in the cool of the day, instead we hide from God wondering if he even cares for us. We are susceptable to doubt and distrust because of innocence lost. Our hearts and minds have been exposed to the rotten part of the fruit of knowledge. God knew that on the day that Adam and Eve sinned that humanity would choose evil over good without Him. Because of his Justice he would have to judge humanity past, present, and future for there disobedience. From just a bite of fruit to the full out murder of one another. God had a plan of salvation for this incredible human project. To keep his name Holy and still save his creation, the Gospel was the fail safe. As Adam all had to die so in Christ all will live. Laws were added to increase the failure. But where sin increased, God's kindness increased even more. Where sin abounds grace abounds even more. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. The Gospel is innocence restored!
