Oh To Be Wise Meditations
God wants to be in his rightful place of glory, in our hearts. On the Cross Jesus has done that. Like the Sun God dwells in an unapproachable light. The closer we get to him with our sin the more we are burned up in justice. The farther we stay away we become cold and die in our sins. Through the Gospel Jesus has become the Sun incarate and dwells in us. The problem still with mankind is their sinful heart. It keeps us from being in right relationship with the Sun of Righteousnees. Shade has been provided but people choose darkness over light. Oh Jesus, there is no excuse to endure the sunburn and cancer of sin. You have provided the healing and protection for our souls through Christ. Help me to dwell more in the light of your Presence, and not let my heart get cold by living for the world.
