Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Jesus, you lead me to the high mountain of the Cross to be alone with you. As I see you high and lifted up, looking to you as founder and perfecter of my faith. I see the joy that was set before as you endured the Cross, despising the shame for my salvation. You did this to lead me to this place of repentance and forgiveness. You have called all people to Calvary to open our hearts and minds to meaning and purpose. On your body you have bore our sins that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By your wounds we have been healed from our past and present sins, looking forward to the future moment by moment and day by day. I am brokenhearted seeing you on the Cross. My sins have put you on their as well as the worlds iniquity. Praise God that as I feel so condemn you have brought me this low so that I can see your Glory! Yes Lord let the bright cloud of Holy Spirit overshadow me. Let your voice speak to my contrite heart and say this is my Son in whom I am very pleased. Just then Lord, you have become transfigured and I realize you in my heart. I see the lamb become a lion. Jesus  your  appearance  transformed so that your face shines like the sun, and your clothes becomes as white as light. The suffering servant has become King of my soul! I am foolish because when you touch me with the Holy Spirit Lord I let my knowledge of law and the prophets give me great pride. You remind me quickly that their is no shelter I can take credit for. You revealed yourself to me only by the Father, nothing in my own accord could have open my eyes to your glory! I am overwhelmed by your Grace and Mercy! I am running down this mountain of the Cross having seen my Savior. The Son of Man has been raised from the dead and Elijah has come and is already here. Oh to be wise in this Jesus: Your transfiguration will soon be my transfiguration. I will be like you not only in spirit but in body. I am being transfigured daily by the power the Cross. Meditate Matt. 17:1-11
