Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Lord I don't want make provision or excuses for my flesh. I need the covering of Christ so that I can respect myself and others. If I don't protect what is sacred and holy the enemy will trample it. I have been baptized and clothed with Christ. I desire to walk by the Spirit, and not gratify the desires of the flesh. There are so many things that look like wisdom but is actually self-imposed worship and false humility. Even if I treat my body harsh it has no value for holding back the constant desires of my corrupt nature. I must stay in the mind of Christ and not think about ways to indulge my evil desires. Thank you Jesus because you keep me from making excuses and give me solutions.
