Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Lord, you have given me your spirit to endure, to lift up my own Cross and bear it. Into the Father's hands you committed your spirit becoming the great high priest who has passed through the heavens on behalf of mankind. You have given us your presence to live inside us. In this body of death we can have life more abundantly, with Holy Spirit awakening our souls from sin. Jesus, you were victorious on the Cross from an eternal perspective. To the world you were just another man that lived and died, maybe a good moral teacher. But to those who believe in you, you have given your precious spirit as a gift. Our bodies do not live forever in this world. Our hearts and minds do not endure in this world. Sin and death have ruined our world and left us slaves to our own doing. Lord, help me to be wise in this: God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. I do not have to live a life of fear, sin and regret. Lord, you have given me the same spirit that rose you from the dead. Because of the life you lived and the death you rose from you are able to empathize with our weaknesses. Yes, even being tempted in every way just as we are yet without sin. Without your spirit we have nothing, with your spirit we find everything. We must approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. God has paved the road to salvation in Christ. Receive Holy Spirit so he can lead us to eternal life now and forevermore. Because Jesus endured the Cross we will endure. Because he rose again we will rise again. Thanks to be the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whoes spirit is within us the only hope of glory. Meditate Rom. 8:11
