Oh To Be Wise Meditations
I am wise if I do not copy what evil people say and do. But love to do what God says and does. I will be like a tree that grows by a river, tall and strong with shiny leaves and lots of fruit. Evil people are planted in dusty dry grass where there is no water in sight. They have no goodness or strength in them, so when the winds of strife blow they are cut down by adversity. The Lord is always with people who love Him. We are safe in his love because we obey him. Lord, through your Holy Spirit in me, cause me to obey and love your word. I am blessed when I imitate Christ in my daily life. It will reap good fruit in my life rather than the vanishing spoils of evil.
