Through a text I can give you a word from my heart. On a phone call I can encourage you through my voice. But face to face I can show you the radiance of Christ that reflects from the windows of my soul. God works in a similar way by sending a personal word through the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Also he speaks through providence or circumstance so you can hear his voice. He loves to speak face to face though. This happens when we open the scriptures to read. Our face to his face, as he is the Living Word come to life right before the eyes of our hearts. Spend some time with Jesus today he loves to talk to you.Â
