Why do we ask God for what we think is good? We should ask Him for what He thinks is good for us? When God formed all the wild animals and all the birds out of the ground. He brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Notice it was not man bringing to God but God bringing to man. Whatever the man called each creature became its name. We often attempt to present our Creator what we think is good by justifying our actions, promising to do better, trying to put the best spin on the state of our hearts. In the end what God wants is you. When we give him ourselves, he gives the very best he has. Let us come to him with nothing in our hands so we can leave full in our hearts. Receiving the promises of God to claim them in the name of Jesus! He has so much good to give and He wants us to participate in it. As it comes into your life you will call it blessed.
