Little by little what sin you practiced wilfully is becoming disgusting to you. What you once enjoyed doing openly you don't even enjoy doing it secretly anymore. This means the Gospel is taking root, your spirit and body moan in agony! What is a planting of the Lord produces the fruit of repentance and faith. Revealing that you are a true child of God, renewing the mind from sin and death. Christ planted the Holy Spirit in you and his roots are stretching in you. It may hurt your pride for the moment because growing takes spiritual maturity. But your branches are thickening and your leaves are showing! You are putting away the old and growing in the new.
