Oh To Be Wise Meditations

If we live however we want there is no power for the christian life. The power is in the living word of God as we conform to it. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. Grace and Peace are multiplied in us through the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. God made great and marvelous promises, so that his nature would become part of us. We must escape from the evil desires and the corrupt influences of this world. For God has already begun judging his own people. And if his judgment begins with us, imagine how terrible it will be for those who refuse to obey his message. As the scripture says, "It is difficult for good people to be saved; what, then, will become of godless sinners?" Power has been made available to us through Christ. So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for he will never fail you. Lets commit our souls to our faithful Creator and continue to do good for his glory. The power of his love is saving us from destruction and
