Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Lord, I tend to be a statue, stuck in my ways and not reaching out to others. Many times I just stand there and say nothing when there is an opportunity to be light and salt. Im frozen in my pride, many times because of the fear of the unknown. You have called me to be fountain of living water, stirring up within me. To be a bubbling brook of wisdom that is in deep waters of Holy Spirit. My life is be overflowing with the fear of God so I can avoid the snares of death. If I stay a statue the fountain runs dry in me. But if pursue relationship with you Jesus I know I will have my fill of abundance. I will drink of your delights. For with You is the fountain of  life, in your light we see light. Let all my spring of joy in me flow out to people around me. God of hope fill me with all joy and peace in believing, so that I will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. I see so many souls that are dried out statues. Yes, like a leaky cistern, not able to hold a full relationship with Christ. Like a trampled spring and a polluted well Is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked. Jesus, I realize when I give in to evil, it's like dumping garbage into my stream of clear living water. Over time if I do not confess, if I do not repent my fountain will rust and run dry. I would rather be a strong pillar in the house of my God. Than to be a statue eroding away in sin and death, left as rubble as judgement with the enemy. Meditate Ps. 36:8-9
