Oh To Be Wise Meditations
There are so many ways in which a person might be tempted to accommodate sin in their lives. Its not about being content in the removal of certain sins, its about not offering any part of ourselves to sin. Striving to eradicate sin completely from our lives. Being dead to sin and alive in Christ! Many of us are so dead in sin that we are barely spiritually breathing. True spirit and life is knowing Jesus as Lord. He makes us alive even though we are in a dead body of sin. At one time we surrendered ourselves entirely as slaves to impurity and wickedness for wicked purposes. In the same way we must now surrender ourselves entirely as slaves of righteousness for holy purposes. Some of you used to live like that. By the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of God's Spirit, we have been washed and made holy and acceptable to God. And now because we have been freed from sin and are Servants to God, your fruit in life is holy, for the result of those things is eternal life. Lord I want to live in freedom, let me not use this freedom as a cover up for evil. I want to live as your servant that is not ashamed.
