Proverbs of a 35 yr old man

You don't gain anything by being punished for some wrong you have done, but thanks be to God his Grace covers that. Their is a blessing though when we suffer for doing good. When people treat us unfairly but we are still loyal to the Lord. God has chosen us to suffer as we follow in the footsteps of Christ. Jesus set us an example by his suffering. Christ did not sin or ever tell a lie. Although he was abused, he never tried to get even. And when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he had faith in God, who judges fairly. Christ carried the burden of our sins.He was nailed to the cross, so we would stop sinning and start living right. By his cuts and bruises we are healed. As we look towards our own Cross that we have to bear. Look down at the precious footsteps of Christ in front of you. He has shown us the way to conduct ourselves. Bear just a little while longer, for soon we will be with him in paradise.
