Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Oh Lord, let Holy Spirit start to discipline me from the inside. Before I go out and make foolish mistakes that I will regret. Let me not always have to learn from my mistakes, but correct me in my heart before I commit folly. Let me not be wise in my own eyes but fear the Lord and turn away from evil. I want to live in harmony with people. Not to be arrogant thinking I am wiser than I really am, but associate with humble people. In my relationships I know I can be more affirming than always critical. Correct us in our hearts as we pursue growth in our relationships. Help us Holy Spirit to cut deep and love each other in Christ through the process. Those who give a silly answer to a silly question actually help the one who asked it. This is because they will realize that they are not as smart as they think. Thank you Jesus that you answer me all my silly questions. In the quiet place you have shown me how petty and silly my demands are. Fill me with more and more of your presence so I can be content with your answers from your word. Your peace is the answer to all of life's questions.
