Oh To Be Wise Meditations

A sign of spiritual growth is growing in the knowledge of the will of God for your life. When this happens you begin to live from Gods power. Able to handle trouble when it comes and be patient. Without a steady relationship with Christ we live from our own strength. Some are stronger than others, but all people are weak and easily enticed by certain desires. God is our refuge for the days trials, sustaining us and giving us a living hope. The Lord has given us the spirit of patience through Holy Spirit. Having love for God like Jacob had for Rachel. Working seven years to get Rachel seemed like only a few days to him because of his for her. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Through our faith, God is protecting us by his power until we receive this great salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. Christ lives in me and the life I live in the flesh is by faith in the Son of God. Who loved me and gave himself to save me. Its that love that keeps me going, and gives me victory over sin. Jesus you give me the strength to love. Thank you for your patience.
