Oh To Be Wise Meditations

A mistake, a blunder, a snafu, a boo boo, a flub, or maybe even a slipup. This through misstep, miscalculation, or confusion caused by misstatement. Also could be a misconception, an oversight, or a total gaffe meaning one thing when you meant another. The reality is someone is at fault because of a mistake. No matter how you break it down a lapse of judgment is so hard to recompense. Even if you are sorry or distraught, showing true repentance. What is to say you will not do it again? The more you try to clean up the mess you started the worse it gets. Almost like moping dirt off the floor without water or soap. It gets everywhere and into everything you love, leaving you without the hope to redeem yourself. We have all heard the cliche, everyone makes mistakes and we have to learn from them. While that is true, the consequences are many times final. And just one mistake can change your life forever. Correcting these mistakes is impossible with man because all our righteousness is as filfthy rags. When dealing with alot of sin in our lives, its impossible for us to keep it from destroying us on our own. We were born in sin, shapened in iniquity, in sin did our mothers conceive us. From the fall of Adam till now sin has caused many mistakes. From a forbidden fruit on a tree to nations of people at war with each other. We need a Saviour that can recompense and redeem us from the biggest of sins to the smallest of sins. That redeemer is Jesus, He took upon Himself the punishment we deserved for every careless sin. As well as every willfull and disturbing thing we have committed, even those committed in the darkness of our lives. Jesus who knew no sin, took on sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. He suffered for our sins and asked God to forgive us. Jesus is the mistake breaker. Bearing all our sins, he now makes intercession for all who call upon the name of the Lord. He lives to save completely those who draw near to God through Him. Though the world condemns us. Even loved ones who never forgive, God has forgiven and forgotten. He proves this by Christ Jesus who died and was raised to life, and is at the right hand of God. He calls out to us among our accusers and says go and sin more. For I did not come to condemn the world but to save it. There will be a day where Jesus will right all the wrongs and recompense fully according to his will. Till then we must live forgiven and free, trusting in Gods Grace. The just will live by faith, following the way of life Christ has set as an example for us. Avoiding the mistakes we constantly made, and honoring Jesus by forgiving each other. You made a mistake, now let God own it. Spend the rest of your life honoring him by pursuing relationship with Christ. Jesus makes no mistakes, he loves even to the uttermost. Meditate Prov. 28:13
