Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

The Lady Justice statue is depicted different ways in courthouses around the world. It is a symbol of justice and morality for many governing bodies. She usually carries a double edged sword in one hand and an equal balance of scales in the other. Most famously known for her blindfolded eyes, showing no impartiality and administering fair justice as needed. I can't help but apply this idea to my Christian walk. The word of God is living and active. It cuts deep like a sword in my heart causing me to ask God for mercy and forgiveness. As I am doing that I must put on the blindfold of Holy Spirit so I am not influenced by outside factors and the ways of the world. Because of what Christ has done for us the balance of the scales is for us and not against us. Where sin abounds grace abounds even more. We are able to live in freedom because of the justice and mercy found in Christ. It's time we live out spirit and truth for the glory of God. For he did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us. God the Father unlike Lady Justice, took the sword of wrath in one hand and in the other hand took an unbalanced of scales; and laid upon Jesus the sins of the world. Spiritually speaking God was blindfolded and poured out the full measurement of the law upon Christ who was innocent. Jesus was raised to life on the third day, and now stands in Heaven's courtroom as lady justice for all humanity. One day you will stand before God and take account for your life. Get to know him now as lawyer because in heaven he will be Judge. Study Acts 17:30-31
