Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

You show how wise you are by the way you live. And if you are not living for God you are open to all kinds of folly and trouble. Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. The wisdom of the Lord brings peace even with your enemies, until the day of his vengeance. Anyone who hears and obeys the teachings of Jesus is like a wise person who built a house on solid rock. Rain will pour down, rivers will flood, and winds will beat against the house of both the righteous and the wicked. Yet it is the house of the righteous that does not fall and endures the test of time. When the whirlwind passes, the wicked are no more, but the righteous are secure forever. Wisdom based on too much human opinion is like quicksand to your faith. You need to know the truth of God for yourself and be able to live it out so wisdom can become a rock in you. Jesus is the power of God and the wisdom of God. If you are in relationship with him then you are a rock bubbling over with living water. The Holy Spirit is all over you flowing spirit and life into every situation.
