Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Can a person live without God? Can they sustain themselves without the presence of the Lord? If God were to take his breath of life away how would humanity survive? If the laws of the universe were reversed or removed could the earth still hold up in space? Our existence depends on God, whether we acknowledge His existence or not. Man can have a mortal existence without acknowledging God, but not without the fact of God. Around this world we are living in, physical life fills the earth. So much beautfiul and wondrous things to live for. The problem with that is everything in this life is temporary. The breeze comes and goes. The flowers bloom and toil. The rains shower but the sun scorches it dry. Everything in this life has its time and than is gone from the grasp of your hands. Even your loved ones are here for awhile and then pass away. The truth when you finally chose to confront it, is that the pleasures and enjoyments of this world are fleeting and are not sustainable. God did it this way so that you would look for him and find him because he is not that far away. No matter how well you live this life there is no guarantee it matters for the next without God. Man is not at peace with his fellow man because he is not at peace with himself. Man is restless with himself because he has no peace with God. There is more to life than this physical dimension. To reason within ourselves without God is enjoying choice bread and saying tommorrow we will die. When God sent his Son Jesus the Living Bread for us to truly be nourished and fullfilled in this life and the next. Living without God is preparing yourself for the eventually hell you will be facing now and forever. Distancing yourself from the author of life and bearing the pain of this world by yourself. This world is falling apart because of sin and death. So much suffering that its a personal hell that many give up and would rather not live through. But Jesus went through our hell on earth and has brought humanity back in relationship with the Living God. He restored spiritual relationship giving us hope here in the natural. Live for God and you will truly be alive more than ever before! Alive in Christ. Meditate John 1:14
