Oh To Be Wise Meditations

We have reaped what God has sown. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels, a plentiful harvest of new lives. Sin and death have brought destruction upon our world. Humanity has sown to the wind and reaped a whirlwind. There is no standing grain in the hearts of mankind; what sprouts fails to yield good flour for life. Without Christ I see no hope for humanity. Just an endless chasing of the empty space not just in the skies, but in our hearts. Jesus, when you died you planted righteousness and peace. You are the true peacemaker that has reaped the harvest of righteousness. What was dead is now alive because of the power of Holy Spirit working in the hearts of man. The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. We have reaped what God has sown, amen. So, plow the fields of your hearts, scatter seeds of justice, and harvest faithfulness. Worship the Lord, and He will send his saving power down like rain. Salvation is here and now, it's time for the harvest of eternal life in Christ.
