Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Build a well in a community and watch it be transformed. A place where living water can be accessed easily. At the turn of a knob parched hearts and lips can be revived! There are so many people in this world who not only need physical water, but spiritual water to live. This is why followers of Christ must be dug in the word. A deep relationship with Christ so lifespring can flow out of us everywhere we go. Think about how often in a day you thirst for water. How much more do people need spiritual water while living in a dry and thirsty world? We must share living water from our lives as well as help others build their own wellsprings. The Holy Spirit does the digging and Christ fills the soul. What do we do as fellow believers in Christ? We share with people where to find living water, and hand them a bible so they can start digging deep in their hearts. People have done two evil things in the sight of the Lord: They have abandoned Him— the fountain of living water. And have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all! Whatever you are living for that is not Christ, will not hold enough meaning and purpose for you. We all have broken lives we are dealing with and are in need of the presence of God to fill our jars of clay. Meditate John 4:14
