Oh To Be Wise Meditations

There is life in forgiveness. Everyday I must choose to forgive and accept forgiveness. We live in an imperfect world with imperfect people. Things are not always going to go smoothly and we need to live in grace so we can share it with others. How we treat ourselves determines many times how we treat others. Having expectations for people that we would never be able to do ourselves. And the standards we have need to be backed up by the word of God. People need forgiveness they crave for it, and if not given they spend the rest of their lives in bitterness and hate. Think about all our social issues how they are affected by angry people. Society has abandoned them and their sins will hang over them forever. Don't get me wrong, we do not forgive and forget. We should always have reminders for future generations of the evil that was done. Don’t cheat your neighbor by moving the ancient boundary markers set up by previous generations. The world operates in sin and death, we must bring the message of the Gospel so forgiveness of Christ can heal hearts and lives. Imagine if people began to forgive each other all over the world. Taking responsibililty for their actions and giving freedom to those being held captive by sin and death. Circumstances many times don't change and people will have to live with the consequences of their sins. But they can take heart in knowing that Jesus has overcome the world. Can you handle the forgiveness that Christ is offering to all humanity? The murderer and thief, God is granting forgiveness and new life in heaven! The liar and adulter God is removing all their shame and covering them with the robe of Christ! Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters. For now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. Lets give up our evil ways and start thinking pure thoughts towards each other. Be faithful to the Lord, why should we die in unforgiveness when we can live for Christ and his Kingdom. Meditate Matt. 6:14
