Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Praise The Lord for He is good and his mercy endures forever. What God has called good is good and very good. It is pleasing to the eye and desirable for gaining wisdom. His ways are higher than our ways showing us how good He really is. Think about this: Although a hen's feces and egg exit through the same hole called the vent, they come from different internal channels. The egg, as it exits, pinches off the intestine so it's not possible for a hen to lay an egg and poop at the same time, or for poop to get on an egg inside a hen. In the Lord's mercy we nourish our bodies with eggs from a hen. It is good to eat even though excrement comes from the same place of the chicken. What God has called good is good and very good. Surely God is good to us, to those whose hearts are pure. Every good gift and perfect gift is from above, carefully vetted in the throneroom of heaven before it comes about on earth. God is able to make all grace abound to us, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, we may have an abundance for every good deed. As it is written: He scattered; He gave to the poor; His righteousness endures forever. His Goodness fills the earth and through the wisdom of Holy Spirit we can enjoy all he has made. Jesus has so much good to show in his word, if only we would listen. If only we would keep the word undefiled and not change it to fit our ways. If we receive the pure word of God in our hearts we will be changed into Image of Christ. So, do your planting in the morning and in the evening, too. You never know whether it will all grow well or whether the one planting will do better than the other. What we do know is everything in the Living word is good and very good. And the more we practice righteousness and seek truth, the more we will have Gods goodness in our lives. Meditate Ps. 112:9
