Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Sin is always evolving and changing, showing up its ugly head in different places of our lives. The things you have victory over the enemy wants to defeat you, and he starts with our thinking. He knows our flesh is weak to the desires of this world. When sin finds its chance by means of the commandments of God it deceives me and kills me. Its the weapon the enemy uses to destroy the work of Christ in our lives. Our hearts are deceitful above all things and beyond cure. No mere human can understand it all? People’s hearts grow callous over time and they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn to God for constant victory. In our own strength from time to time we give into temptation, not realizing the root of our problems is the chess moves of the enemy. We get to confident in our blessings and walk in the fire without the quailty time of Holy Spirit. The less time we spend with God the less victory we are going to have and last in our personal lives. Sin and death is slithering around your heart and mind. Watching and waiting to see if we will stray just alittle bit from Christ in any areas of our lives. This is why must be renewed by power of the living word daily to combat the attacks of evil. If we let sin reign we will slowly lose our sense of shame and start to live for lustful pleasures. So sensual in nature that we might have had victory in this area of life before, but the enemy of our souls brought more evil with him to take lose our faith. Lord Jesus, you are everlasting to everlasting, your word never changes but still is fresh everday. May we trust in the quailty time with you and in the power of Holy Spirit in us. To quench any arrow that the Devil is trying to hit us on each and every different day. I am protected from sin and death because Holy Spirit is many steps ahead of the enemies plans.
