Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

The path of righteousness is a rough road ahead. There is much suffering in bearing fruit for the Kingdom. We will have to bear many things that we cannot handle. Carry things that are too heavy of a burden. Accept things that we cannot change. To suffer for living an evil life you already receive your reward on earth from man maybe. But to suffer for doing good you wait for your reward in heaven, where treasure does not rot. Keep straight on the righteous path and troubles will soon come. In this world we will have trouble, but take heart Christ has overcome. The path you are living has been heavenly trodden before by Jesus Himself. We are not self righteous but are following in the footsteps of Christ. With every step of faith we get stronger. With every trial we get more disciplined. The free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. In order to truly receive it we must die to self. Jesus says, If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. The righteous path is a rough road ahead, how narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it. The question is then, do you want to be a victor or a victim? Victory belongs to Jesus, do not ever give up. Walk the path.
