Oh To Be Wise Meditations

A shrewd Christian always looks to have the moral advantage. A higher ground to stand on and not lower their standards to the norms of the day, or to get even with someone. When we reason with the foolishness of the world, we end up playing with fire and brimstone. Vengeance comes natural to flesh, revenge taste sweet to the wrongly accused. It makes our blood boil when someone has wronged us. If we do not respond biblically we pay a terrible price because of our selfish impulses. Our society is full of people who are ready to let their disagreements escalate out of control. Who through injustice ask for violence and not peace. Lets not be overcome with evil but overcome evil with good. Addressing problems at the very beginning of a matter, keeps the seed of discord from being sown. Watch out, before angry feelings turn into angry actions. Wicked people cross the line to test and mock God's Sovereignty. But Jesus is the righteous right hand of God, and He is our moral advantage through every trial and disagreement. His vengeance is coming with pure holy fire. So don't be hateful to people, just because they are hateful to you. Rather, be good to each other and to everyone else. Keep your moral advantage, its the best way to stay in God's favor and avoid his just wrath. Meditate Romans 12:17
