Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Be genuinely converted. Not just on the outside but on the inside, be cut to the heart. What good is zeal if it is only according to desire and not knowledge? Do not be fooled by tears that come down from cheeks. Many cry out of deep sorrow and not true repentance. The heart should want transformation and the mind should desire renewing. We need more than outward reformation, we need to be born again. 

So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness. The law of his word is perfect, even to the converting of the soul.
