Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The call of God. Can you hear it? Can you feel it? There is a mighty wind that shakes the core of our hearts and minds, bringing us to our righteous senses. Then a filling of fire in your bones giving you a passion to hear the voice of God. Listen closely, its a still small voice, your ears hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it." Those with a wayward spirit will come to understanding, and those who grumble will accept instruction. Why? Because Jesus is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and misguided, since he himself is beset by weakness. Jesus, you caused the springs and streams in me to gush forth, and you dried up sinful rivers that never run dry. All so I can hear the voice of God in my life! I need it! Without your vision for my life I would be lost in sin. I hear a mighty river flowing and power of Holy Spirit refreshes me. What was a still small voice has become a sweet sound of peace in my ear. The call of God is wonderful. He has called me out of darkness into his marvelous light. I am drinking fresh pure water renewing my soul daily. Whatever you call me to be let me not shrivel down to what I want for my life. Lord, you have my life use for your glory and honor. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. I pray that God, who gives peace, will make you completely holy. And may your spirit, soul, and body be kept healthy and faultless until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. Meditate 1 Thess. 2:12
