Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Lord, do not let me be persuaded to do anything evil or to become involved with wickedness, with people who are troublemakers. Don't let me even taste the good things they offer. Give me the resolve not to defile my spirit with the things of the world. And to resist the pressure to do what is wrong and stand up for what is right. May my life be distinctly different from the wicked. Not that I am may gloat in my own obedience, but that it is evident that I have a personal relationship with Jesus. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified their corrupt nature along with its passions and desires. So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Think of all the hostility Jesus endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up.
