Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The LORD will complete what his purpose is for me. LORD, your gracious love is eternal; do not abandon your personal work in me. Your hands have made me and fashioned me; give me understanding to learn Your commandments. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. He will sustain me to the end, so that I will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are God's children. He sent Christ Jesus to save us and to make us wise, acceptable, and holy. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor any thief or greedy person or drunkard or anyone who curses and cheats others. Some of you used to be like that. But now the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of God's Spirit have washed you and made you holy and acceptable to God. Practicing sin is the past, your new life in Christ is learning righteousness.
