Oh To Be Wise Meditations

We make our own plans, but the LORD decides where we will go. Respect and obey the LORD! This is the beginning of knowledge. Only a fool rejects wisdom and good advice. Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. Too much pride brings disgrace; humility leads to honor. Our plans must be according to the Lord's will, stay away from a life that only please others and yourself.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the purposes of His heart to all generations. Do not get caught fighting against God because you will not be able to stop Him. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever! LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago. I want to do your will, here is my life lead me in the way I should go. The way of righteousness is where I want to walk in.
