Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Create pure thoughts in me and make me faithful again to you my Lord. Do not banish me from your presence, please do not take your holy spirit away from me. Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt. Oh, give me back my joy again; the joy of my salvation, you have broken me but now let me rejoice. Christ alone has lived a perfect life, the perfect sacrifice and I am not worthy of such a high calling. I am only a better person because Christ lives in me and covers my my shame. God loves us and has chosen us as his own special people. So be gentle, kind, humble, meek, and patient. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. The one who lives blamelessly, practices righteousness, and acknowledges the truth in his heart--whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken. Study Prov. 20:9
