Oh To Be Wise Meditations

"I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve." The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes— so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them.’ The enemy of our souls will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to understand them, because spiritually they are discerned. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you.
