Nothing cuts at the heart more than the conviction of Holy Spirit. You can brush aside a person's critique or reprimand. Even refuse to accept an open rebuke from a friend. But who can deafen their hearts from the Spirit of Christ's appeal to the conscience? Jesus says, "If any of you have never sinned, then go ahead and throw the first stone. What a gift it is to then be convicted by your own conscience, and humbly accept the words of God in your life go and sin no more! You are truly blessed because you don’t feel guilty for doing something you have decided is right. Praise God, the faith in which you have, you have as your own conviction before the LORD Jesus. Real Conviction comes from God. Allow Jesus is speak into your life the words of life. He brings about a godly repentance in you that leads to salvation, leaving to no regret like what worldly grief brings, which is spiritual death.
