Becoming Fast and Slow

Good morning and Happy Monday. God loves you. I love you. Praise God for waking you up this morning and sing this song. I'm trading my sorrows, I'm trading my shame. I'm laying it down for the joy of the Lord. I'm trading my sickness, I'm trading my pain. I'm laying it down for the joy of the Lord. This morning’s verse is from James 1:19. My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. When we're in difficult situations, it isn't always easy to stay calm or hold our tongue for very long. The worldly is slow to hear what others have to say, quick to voice their own opinions, and quick to accuse, argue, and fight. So what produces the right kind of living that God desires? Being obedient to the words of God. So next time you're faced with something that makes you angry, take time to temper your emotions, think through your feelings and humbly pray for God to help you respond with kindness and grace. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
