Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Oh LORD, protects us. Be our refuge and fortress, the God in who I trust. Evildoers frustrate the plans of the humble, but the LORD is their protection. God has given us both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. God is not like people, who lie; He is not a human who changes his mind. Whatever he promises, he does; He speaks, and it is done. We have to accept that the grass will wither and the flower will fade away. When the LORD's breath blows nothing can stand against it. We must have faith in knowing that the word of our God will stand forever. They are established for ever and ever, enacted in faithfulness and uprightness. Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them but the rebellious stumble in them. Meditate Proverbs 10:29
