Oh To Be Wise Meditations
I saw an ambulance screaming down the highway very early in the morning. I was on my way to early fellowship with some my friends. It was like 5:30 am I was still sleepy eyed but focused on the road ahead of me. But that loud sound of the siren woke my spirit up and I thought, Go God, Go! The LORD is up early ready to help those in times of need. While we are sleeping God is still at work. The Lord’s loving-kindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassion's never fail. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
The God who is our salvation. But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. God is on the move like an ambulance in the midnight hour. We were sleeping while The LORD was tending to this chaotic word. Its amazing how there is still order in a world that seems to be always in trouble. God replied to Job, were you there? Were you there when mountain goats and deer gave birth? Have you been there when their young are born? God is popping out babies will you are sleeping. The voice of the LORD twists mighty oaks and strips the forests bare. In his Temple everyone shouts, “Glory!” The LORD rules over the floodwaters. The LORD reigns as king forever. Pray that our LORD will make us strong and give us peace. It was custom for Jesus to wake up early. As the sun was rising, Jesus stood at the water's edge, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. I think we need to recognize and appreciate the blessing of knowing God is constantly at work in this world as well as our lives. Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. Jesus was risen early, may it be so in our hearts every morning. LORD, you are an ambulance full of love and mercy. Thank you for your dedication to us. He who began a God working in you, will continue it till the day He comes again, through those clouds of glory.
