Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps. Better said, don't be stupid and believe all you hear; be smart and know where you are headed. It is so easy to become naïve about things around us. To be complacent not totally pursue a lead or open door in our lives. We may have lack of experience, wisdom or judgment in a matter. Which leads us to being misled in so many ways and areas in my life. Sensible people will see trouble coming and avoid it, but an unthinking person will walk right into it and regret it later. Learn to be shrewd, you who are inexperienced; develop common sense, you who are foolish. LORD, help me to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil. I have eyes but do not see, ears but do not hear, I need the Spirit of Christ to awaken my spirit to the truth of Gods word. No longer will I fail because of ignorance. No more naïve spirit, I need openness with Christ. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Don't let anyone trick you with foolish talk. God punishes everyone who disobeys him and says foolish things. The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Lets be diligent in our pursuit of the knowledge of Jesus, He is our wisdom and will keep us away from folly.
